V8 Nissan Titan

This evening coming home there was a guy in this newer Nissan Titan V8 next to me for a mile or so trying to pass me. I let him pass, then caught up & matched his speed, went by and then let him catch up again. As we approach the stoplights under the interstate then a left turn onto the feeder: We both get it from green (no boost launch) from the first stop light and I smoke him to 40 or so, slow down a bit, wait for the 2nd light to go green and make the left hand turn. He's in the inside lane and I hear him getting on it as we both make the turn. We straighten out towards the feeder from a 30 or so roll. He made almost 1 length on me as he got on it first but not for long as I easily pulled 5 or so as we approached traffic. My windows were down so I had time to wave as I went by.
I guess I was expecting more from those trucks with all the money they pour into advertising them.

my bestfriend had a Titan as a rental truck and we lined up a few times and i beat him by atleast 4 truck lengths each time, but... good kill!

crew cab titans i think run high 14s, they keep up wit the silvy ss's pretty damn close. very quick trucks for as big as they are. good kill none the less :tup:

Ahh the old wave as your passing by. LOL.. I did that to a guy in a Mustang years ago, I could see him in his car, flailing about as I waved. we stoped and talked and he reinacted his frustration for me on the side of the road, it was very funny and priceless.

Putting the fire to a lesser turck. I bet the Sy can't haul the payload that a Titan can though, so its balanced. A cobra has faster reflexes than a grizzly, but can it break a man's scull with a swipe?

Yah, but I'd never take on a tundra in a hualing contest only to lose and then turn around and say, well I can beat you in a race, so now were even! uhhh nooo.:tdown:

my ram hemi ran a 14.4 with just exhaust and an intake. on stock 20's too.
and it could out haul any nissan anyday.

i just got rid of my gas hog titan. it was a fun truck to drive, until you needed to see where you were going. too many blind spots. but it could lay down the rubber.
