Vacumm test with Mighty Vac???

This is going to sound extremely dumb but if I wanted to see why my boost is only at 10lbs boost and 10 lbs vacuum, could/how/where would I hook up a mighty vac to check for vacuum leaks? already replaced wastegate, turbo spins freely and wheel looks in good condition... Just at a loss for what could be causing the leak?

My Syclone had a similar problem a few weeks ago. Only had 11 lbs of boost. Found the vacuum line behind the intake that goes to the FPR and MAP had a crack in the line. Replaced with fresh set of vacuum hoses, 14 lbs and 18 hg of vacuum in park 15 hg in drive.

As for the hook up with the vacuum, that would have to be an interesting contraption to see that work I believe.

If anything a smoke test would be more revealing. Otherwise use some carb cleaner/brake clean to find the leak with the engine running.

Forget the turbo \ wastegate. If it's happening in Boost and Vacuum you need to do this;

Well the mighty vac can produce fake boost pressure basically. I used it to test my methanol injec5ion module to make sure it was spraying. As for the vaccum lines, they are all the blue plastic type quick disconnect. I need to get in there and start chasing some lines. Tytilidie and I used windex instead to try and find bubbles during a vaccum test. Can hear a leak of somesort but no luck seeing it.

Using soapy water to find a leak pulling a vacuum is not going to give you bubbles. Try dawn dish soap with water spraying on hoses from a bottle. Pressurize the system not pull a vacuum. A mity vac is going to take a while to pressure up. I would pressure it up from the brake booster hose.

How consistently does it only make 11psi? Sounds more like a waste-gate issue. Are you using the factory solenoid?

It was originally at 14 when tuned for meth. Now vac is 10hg and boost is 10-11psi. The external wastegate is new and has a 12 lb spring. Its a delta gate. Just removed the factory solenoid and am replacing it with a greddy prospec b2 noost controller and solenoid.

Will not having a solenoid hooked up at all cap boost at 8psi? Because currrntly there is no solenoid until I install the boost controller
