Vette/CTS-V brake upgrade with ZR2 wheel bearings?

Renz, you may be able to answer this, if not, anyone else who may know.

I am almost certain that ZR2 s-series had upgraded or larger front wheel bearings. I am planning to do the Vette or CTS-V brake upgrade and I would like to know if these bearings are interchangeable with with standard 4wd bearings and thus compatable with the big brake kits.

I will be running 19x10's up front with some serious rubber and it seems I should have the beefiest wheel bearing possible.

Ideally, I would like to pick up a set of 98+ ZR2 knuckles with the dual piston set up because I have read the dual piston knuckle is more easily modified for the big brake kit.

Any thoughts?

To be clear, I do not alreay have a ZR2. I'm working on a 2nd gen non-ZR2 4x4 and would like to use ZR2 bearings along with big brake kit.

That is something that I would like to know as well. There are lots of ZR2's in the yards in Denver.

Sorry, but I challenge you. Multiple internet sources claim they have larger wheel bearings.

GM parts book lists one bearing for 4x4 trucks

easiest way

google this Timken 513124

and read the applications

shocks, lower control arms are zr2 or highrider specific
