Visiting Camaro owner! What is the fastest Sy/Ty out there?

Hi guys. I've always loved Syclones and Typhoons. Anyway some of my Ford friends think that Lightnings are all that, so I was hoping you guys could give me a few examples of the fastest Sys and Tys out there that you know of and their track times. By the way I am a Camaro guy...I have a '91 RS that's stock and a '99 SS that's not ;) Anyways thanks for any responses!

fastest is 9's

stock block, crank, newer stock heads.

fair amount of 10's now,

11's, 12's is becoming common

13s stock

granted our pool of people playing with syty's is a lot less than the ford crowd, we are shrinking, while ford guys are still growing, and probably have 10x more as is.

Damn, i didn't know ya'll were in the 9's! They may have more people running them, but they haven't gotten that fast, have they? Not that I've heard of anyway.

I'm in Denton actually, but yeah I go to LS1 and Mustang meets all over the metroplex. We should definitely get together :) Is there a local group of Sy/Ty owners?

Last time when I checked a few months ago there were no L's in the 10's. There was one guy with just bolt on's in the 11's and a couple of them in the 11's with spraying.

What Jeff said is true, time works for them...

I think i saw a pic on the web somewhere that had a pic of a lightning that lookes like a funny care pretty much and was runiing likek 8.7. I htink it had to carbs on top of a bigass blower. (it all was stacked as high as the roof. I couldnt tell if it was a big block but i am sure with that kind on money that is what he has running a bottle.

Serious about performance
That was probably a 1st gen Lightning, I think they are referring to 2nd Gen (Supercharged 5.4) Lightnings here.
