Note to self, if Morgan ever sells his truck, check for rust damage first. :rotf:

Chromy: Everyone has their preferences. Some race, some daily drive 'em, some show 'em. I'll be driving it for sure, but I also want to preserve and show it...the best of both worlds. The less precipitation it sees, the less time detailing I'll have. That story about the moose eating the salt is a riot!

BTW You might be shocked to see how clean Morgan '0180' truck really is, I sometime think their must be a stunt double.

Yes, I've seen it. Hooters in Cherry Hill NJ, Dec. 2004. Very nice. It was a cloudy day, and it started misting as the gathering ended. I think I called the bank the next day and said, "I need a loan." :D

actually, there are only 3 rust spots on my entire truck, 1 is around the body seam on the fire wall behind the distributor, Ill fix that when I pull the motor. 1 is on the lower bottom corner of the drivers side fender, behind the cladding, its been there since I bought the truck 4 years ago and just never fixed it. The most recent is a cancer bubble on the back edge of the passenger side quarter window, its still quite small so im not worried.

Considering the amount of body work I have planned for this truck in the next 2 years, including pulling the frame out from under it, im not to worried about its condition so I might as well beat the shit out of it now so at least I can say "hey, I did that" cause in a few years, it will be a trailer queen to some degree.

my truck = sexual chocolate

Welp, that's ONE way to end a thread. I can hear the screeching tires all the way over here. :rotf:

It appears as though Smaug has resorted to having sex with his truck, maybe Smaug's GF really was that offended in Pittsburg...

Re: Volunteer my house for a BBQ spring meeting

i guess it all depends on if he feels his yard is gonna be dry enough and/or if its gonna be warm enough then. Otherwise we will continue with Dave and Busters in March and push this meet off till July.

Umm... That's Easter this year. It would be a nice late birthday present for me, but I don't think I'd get away with hanging out with other truck owners that day.

Still have snow back there. Plus I think a BBQ would be better in the Spring.

I'm game whenever a date is finalized. I'm only in Reading so the trip is a piece of cake.
