Old Guard GURU
Going to breakfast Sat morning (Ty is just now running after all winter of being worked on), Little red VW VR-6 pulls out and starts playing with me...
So i give it a little and scream on by him.

The guy did not get the hint, He follows me to get more!!
we Turn left and he "whines" (you all know the sound) past me so I let him go a bit and then just give it a bit (only running 12 lbs now for breaking in the tranny)I go past him and get out of it.

He STILL has not had enough!!!!!

we come to a red light and he sets up for the green...I just sit there.....

He goes flying off throught the intersection and i just kinda rollin to it.....

I sailed past him 1/2 block later doing over 120 MPH and still pulling VERY HARD.
we come to the next light and he says "what IS that??"
I told him its stock ......
And this is just the start of the WHUPPINS!!!!!!

I also had a 2000 Flash Red GTi Vr6 with Koni-Coil-over's, TT exhaust, chipped,K/N filter and it really moved on the high-way. This was my third Vr6 powered car, unfortunately I fell asleep and wrapped it around a tree. I now have a 2001 Blue Lagoon Jetta 1.8T and even though my 1992 Typhoon is much faster than all of those car's, I will alway's have a VW in the garage. I am first on the list to look at the GTi 337 when it arrive's at the local dealer here. :D

You are probably better off sticking with the 1.8t if you wanna kill mustanges. The W8 will be a heavy bastard and you will be lucky to get it with the 6spd. Never the less it will be a bad a$$ car.

Audi RS6... Twin turbo V8, AWD, 380hp 530tq supposedly. Not a bad car. No 6 speed though

Just introducing myself as well. I have a friend who keeps posting in our work chat to go to here, so I thought I'd finally register and say Hi.

VW's

VW's

I have been a VW fanatic since my first car at 14 a 1972 Superbeetle. I drove 2 different Typhoon's when they were new and still chose to buy a VW back then. The VW Corrado was and still is my favorite car. I will also be the first in line to buy the 2003 R32 Golf if they bring it to the U.S. I would think twin-turbo kit from HPA Motorsport's on a 3.2 liter Vr6 Jazz Blue R32 4-Motion Golf would be the Shiznit! :D Have any of you watched the video of the twin-turbo Vr6 Golf going almost 200 mph on the Autobahn with that kit? My daily driver is 2001 Blue Lagoon Jetta 1.8T and it a great car to drive. Of course there will alway's be a Sy/Ty garage.

Would you actually pay 18g's for the hpa twin turbo kit. For that you can get a fully built motor and custom turbo kit and TEC-3 that would kick its but.

I think 18 g's is cheap considering even after the purchase price, it is faster than almost every super-car on the planet. The turbo's are running low-boost, think what would happen if you the turned up the boost. It would react like an Audi RS4 and be that much faster. I spoken to several people who have installed the single-turbo kit and twin-turbo kit, and they have not had any problem's. That is alot better than E.I.P, who's customer service is horrible. I believe someone in Florida has a New Beetle with the 4-Motion Kit with a 12V Vr6 and the turbo-charger conversion and he love's it. Remember you have to pay to play.

my friend robert, (newspimp) he has the same, except his is a wolfsburg. man those can haul some a$$ once they are slightly modded. the 5 speed makes them feel much faster too. cutting 9.7's on a brand new clutch...needs to break it in though
