put breathers on both of the valve covers
and thats it??? no PCV's. I thought we need them. I just want to get rid of that stupid hose on the drivers side because my new intake has no hole for it. Just one for the passanger side.

no pcvs, just keep a rag with you to clean the oil off of the valve cover.

not exactly sure what you are asking here but i welded the passage shut on the lower intake manifold so the hot gasses never made it close to the egr port.

i tapped mine and put a plug there

My guess would be the oil is a cause of the increased crankcase pressures cause by deleting the factory pcv system. The factory system uses vacuum when under boost to extract the crankcase pressure but with breathers and no line to your intake track I'd doubt that there is enough vaccum there to pull the pressure ?? which causes higher crankcase pressure levels resulting in burping of oil from breathers or somewheres else a gasket is weak or worn.
