Want to make a BET?

Ok, next year will be my 9th event. The last 4 years my truck has not made an appearance.

I have borrowed sy's 2 of those years, just visited last year, and was the tow truck driver for Roberts this year.

Next year will change.

I have side bets with 4 people now.

• Todd and I have a bet whoever gets truck done first, other person buys steak dinner
• Justin and I have a kick each others ass bet for the next nats. (Him finishing his ty is hinged on me even. :lol: )
• Dabney and I have a bet on bringing ty next year. Loser buys 1 night at strip club. (might have to limit that one if I lose or get 2nd mortgage)
• Dobrick and I just made a bet first one to drive our own ty 10 miles buys gas for the other person to nats.

I am going for broke, so anybody else have a good bet to make? Heck if I win I will be set. If I lose I will be in big trouble.

I gotta call out Uniball. If you don't make it to nats WITH your truck, I get your vette for a month. Not sure what I have to offer though. Not sure I want you to get creative either hmmmmm.

I did the drive once.. and no way would my truck make it without a trailer..

I don't think i'm driving to Kansas city again.. i'll fly..

the weekend cost me about $1400

i saw it too, unfortunately due to all of the stuff piled on top of it and next to it i couldn't get a close look..

in other words, the motor sitting in the engine compartment doesn't make me think he'll get it done.. not to mention the lack of sheet metal, random parts lying all over his garage, and the 100 other project he is working on.

i have a brand new gasket from hood. Just haven't pulled my motor yet to do it. Now that i have the trans to do also, give me a little more motivation to get the shit done :tup:
