want to see if this is normal

i have a 160 thermostat and my truck runs at about 163 around town. but when i jump on the throttle a couple times or when i drive up this kinda big hill by my house my temps get up to like 180 or sometimes 190. just wanted to see if this was normal or if my thermostat could possibly getting stuck..

What kinda outside temps? Do you have A/C on when you get these results? Do you have an A/A? IMO that's not normal, at least my temps never climbed like this with the 160F thermo...

i have a 160 also, the ONLY time i see them hit 180 or above is sitting in traffic in the summer.

I have a 160 - my temps will climb but for the most part I never get much over 170.

temps are about 75 to 80 outside and my ac isnt on. i still have water to air with atr intercooler.
