WARNING - WARNING - WARNING

Tom Russell did not like what I sent him so instead of working with me he decided to work the paypal system and DESTROY each and every piece of equipment I sent him. It appears that he took quite a bit of pleasure in making sure that I could not test and resell any thing that I sent him. He smashed the laptop to bits, crushed the connector on the BRAND NEW O2 sensor broke the connectors on the Remanufactured ECM, smashed the Ostrich 2.0, mangled the G1 adaptor, pulled out the wiring in the LM-1 Wide Band, bent all of the pins on the ALDL Cable.

Here are some pictures of the carnage, I hope that you get pleasure out of these pictures Tom.

I have bought and sold more SYTY stuff than you ever will and have NEVER screwed anyone, I would have worked with you and even sent you a refund.

You got your money back by working the paypal system anyways, Glad you are happy...

No way the mail serv did that. How does the conectors on the ecm get broke and not the metal casing of it? That box would of been destroyed. The pins inside the conector got bent but the exterior if it is good? If thats what it looks like, fight paypal on it and show them. They should be able to reopen the case and review it. Good luck and am very sorry about this douchebag......Hopefully Karma kicks in......

I refunded the money in the resolution center and recieved this...

This was his response to paypal...

11/27/2011 08:49 PST - Buyer: item does not work as discribed, shows error messages, computer crashes/blue screen, computer battery will not hold charge, item is missing many cables and two electronic items smell "burnt". one part has parts rattling around inside....need to return for full refund, will gladly pay return shipping.....


These were things I could have looked at or made sure there were no problems, the ostrich worked perfectly and was setup to communicate with the laptop which had a fresh load of windows XP, I loaded Tuner pro datamaster and verified that everything was communiating, but no Pm's or emails, just him responding through the paypal resolution center...

Aaron, call the resolution center and get a living breathing body on the other end so you can explain what occurred. They can and will reverse the decision but you will have to prove the items were sent in useable condition.

Another tad bit of advice.....as soon as funds hit your paypal account, transfer the funds out. If a dirtbag files a false claim against you and paypal rules in their favor, they are awarded what is in your account but not to exceed the claim amount. In this case, Mr Russell could have received mere pennies, if that. I hate thieves and vandals!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

lets keep name calling and outside opinions of product out of this thread. If you have legitimate suggestions of how to deal with paypal/$/equipment/situation...than fine.

Until Russell ZR1 replies to the thread we can do nothing. we need to hear his side of the story before continuing at all.

Damn, that's too bad things went that way Aaron. You have a great trader rating on this forumn. I can't do anything but say you are a stand up person and hopefully things will go your way. I don't know Russell, but sure would like to know why he would damage items that were very useable.

I could be wrong but if you have your bank account tied into your paypal, which most of us do I think they can go in and take the money out of your personal account. At the least they can and will toss you in collections.

Also, I have done business with Aaron and he is as stand up as there is. crap always happens to the good people

This is were he made his mistake, It should read was smashed to bits when I received it. But is doesn't so that would lead anybody with a brain to figure out that he smashed it, Call paypal and make them hear your case.

Aaron,I gotten a few things off of you over the past few years and your stuff has always been priced right and top notch,why somebody would do this is beyond me.There is no doubt in my mind he did not get this stuff in that condition.Like they say---it take all kinds.

Working as a tech, sometimes things stop working for unknown reasons, I would have checked out the errors to make sure they were legitatmate and not something that was caused by loading another program or something, he is a mac guy from his posts and windows in not as friendly as the Mac os,

That is why I said I would work with him, also I have worked with anyone that was not satisfied with something I have sold, I have plenty of people I have helped or worked with...

I agree with you on this but look at what he did you can't tell me if you were in his shoes you wouldn't want to stomp a mud hole in this guys ass and walk it dry. :2cents:
