website w/ sy/ty and rims?

is there such a website?

if not, i think there should be one.
cuz i've been told 3 of 4 rims are bent... and the ty just vibrates like crazy. so need new rims. the site should have pics of them w/ specs and rim brand/tire size.

no one was ever able to get stock rims reproduced in larger size? i remember that was an idea a while back.

I'd take your rims to another shop to have balanced.

FInd a shop that has a Hunter GSP9000 machine. If that says they are bent - take it as gospel. If you are going off the tech's word...

Trust me - I've been down this road many many times. A Hunter will get 'em to balance.

thanks. yea i had a hunter balance them. and that tech guy told
me that 3 of 4 rims are bent. and it took the hunter a few times to get
it right. there is a lot of weight on them. i even saw the rim spinning and i could visually see it wobble. i'm pretty sure they're bent cuz we have major pot-holes here in seattle.

can a shop straighten them well? i heard its cheaper to get new rims.

Good ol' GSP9000 Road-force balancer. I love that thing! Usually you can just tell if a wheel's bent by eye. Sure you can't tell exactly how many hundereths of an inch of runout there is, but you can guesstimate if it's mounted right on any tire balancer. Anyway, I'm currently talking to my connections at Discount Tire Co. to see if they are able to get me a set of OEM syty wheels. Mine have been chromed. I HATE CHROME!!! Anyway, couple people also gave me these two websites.
