Soon 2008 will be here How does the work in your SY/TY garage around the world look? Would be fun with some updates and pictures from your SY/TY projects. What´s your goals 2008?

For my part, I´m almoust done, have a few minor things left. I have started up my new engine combo The goal is to run solid 8`s next year and hopefully lower the bar for SY/TY. I hope I will see you all next year at the NATS.

Some of you might think that I´m a little bit arrogant, not answering all the questions. As you all know, I´m not a "keyboardknight" and the language is a problem. Sorry about that.

No pictures, but I'm hoping to finish my LS1 coil installation that stalled out and finally get a converter that will let it breathe in the lower gears

That is a HUGE turbo

put the F2RR on the sonoma and get it set up for E-85 freshen my TH400 put my new gears in it

Thanks for posting the pic's and results of your effofts. They are top notch and interesting! I know you probably do not have free time, but it would be cool if you could list some recommendations. I know everyone does things differerent, but you have vast experience in these trucks. Any chance you could make some general comments on how you would build a 12,11, 10 second truck? I would especially like to know how you choose matching camshafts. Please? For Christmas?
As for me, I am going through head to toe maintenance on 2 Ty's . No pic's, they would boring compared to yours! One mild mod, one stock.

Nice Robert, once again your dedication and energy far exceeds my own by leaps and bounds.

But the good news I got your back anyway you need.

And we are hoping to have a few more guy running fast this year, not your fast but quick. The local trucks are on track to all run next year including my own which runs just hasn't been driven yet.

No pics right now, but wheel/tire/brake upgrade, abs delete, fresh-air intake, battery relocate, tranny cooler, additional cooler for intercooler, possible alky install, finish Code59 tuning - does it ever really get finished? and.... maybe start on the motor build with the engine parts I bought this Summer (lil Brodies, block, pistons, rods, etc.).

Placing a 19,xxx original mile 1998 LS1 Camaro SS underneath my 1993 Typhoon. The challenge is to install the clutch pedal pack, fabricate the drivetrain mounts to the frame in the correct locations and make the 6 speed functional through the factory center console unit. Camaro SS is totally disassembled and in my garage. I'm 1/2 way there but the hardest 1/2 lies ahead. Goal is to have it complete by the end of April and peel off high 11's.

To get the TYCLONE into the 10.50 Pump Gas / Meth. With a GT35R pushing it.

We have already been 11.3 @ 118 so its not far away and of course with only 18lbs of boost on straight pump gas.

New Cam & Valvetrain set-up to bring our RPM higher. Cyro Treated Crank, same rods, pistons, rings, block, and vortec heads. 700R4 Built already, with TCS 2800 stall.

Shooting for 11's, but at this point having the engine in the truck will be a welcome sight.

I hope to get my Braphoon running under it's own power....Maybe not built balls out but just running! And go after the fastest Bravada time out there!

regain the use of my jackstands other than holding up the sy.

- install new waller trans
- install ramcharger fans
- change from Z06-R rims to Wagons
- Lots of tuning with Hood
- catch up on some heavily missed streetracing

If at all possible... wb02, alky, and 2 step install.....
