Thanks for posting the pic's and results of your effofts.

Any chance you could make some general comments on how you would build a 12,11, 10 second truck?

I would especially like to know how you choose matching camshafts. Please? For Christmas?

I can answer this Q for Robert, Its a common Q even here in Sweden and we´ve answered before..
NO info givven on the subjekt. try to get the recepie from Coka Cola..

If we gave a spec for a camshaft, U buy it and dont do all other 100 of changes and upgrades involved truout the whole car and it breaks down U gona blame the "advisor"

How we come up with a cam is more like, : read all about the subjekt, be honest about HOW to use your car, speak to cam manufatorys,( Comp Cams, Crane,Edelbrock.....) and there Q-lines they are competent U should get some different cams to chose from, depending on your specs on engine and driving/usage.. then its up to U to do the desition...

Just remember THESE importent thing´s
The more RPM U spin your engine the more money U have to spent just to keep the parts together, and the more boost/pressure/flow/HP/Tq U want to have, the more TOP Quality parts with a HIGH prize tag U have to use..
Also remember, to follow up with good parts in trans and chassie = more money

Speed and Hp cost money, HOW fast do U wana go ???

The 4L80e conversion was Roberts idea and makin, people here asked Robert about how to do, and ALSO asked about going on buissnes on the 4L80e subject for them self,
This was ok with Robert,

But when Robert wanted some info from here. the "fast guys" did´nt even rememer tire pressure or making of tire. so info exchange was near nada to zipp, SOME exeptions..

Whell some Q maybee was to difficult , we´ve learned most of U have custom made engines and trans from different companys, and also hire some special tuners so maybee Q´s Robert was interested of was out of knowledge. but for us its more common to do the resertch and building by ourself not some "guru" ...cost´s for custobuilt are to high here...


Robert still provides the pic´s and videos, U have alot of info how to place things and so he also tells about the heads,intake and turbo INFACT u know near everything BUT the camspecs..

He was somehow dissapointed about so few asked him Questiona about his truck and engine when we where at the nat´s -07 THEN had been a good time to ask..

I know alot about Roberts combo, but even I dont know the spec´s on the cam and I did the degreing in of the cam or rather I didnt need to remember the specs

• Control Arm Bushings
• Jeep Cherokee Steering Shaft
• Install AFPR
• Fix vacuum leaks
• Figure out what I'm going to do about my busted stock air crossover
• Get tuned!

put KYBs on and a Belltech swaybar, 160 degree temp, move the battery(anyone have a battery relocation kit?), get gauges, lower the back 2", wash the truck.

Not too much on the list for now, i need to get the stereo installed and is top on my list ( soundstream tarantula 6 1/2 compnents and a 10in dvc sub (undecided on brand)), get alky kit wiring completed, i'd like to get the frame boxed in and the interior caged this uear but will wait and see how things go for those items. Trying to get stereo done before the world of wheels show first week in Feb, so i better get started very soon. Fiberglass kicks, and custom box/amp rack in bed, then some paint or suede to finish it off. New motor and trans for 09, unless they break in 08.

For my part, I´m almoust done, have a few minor things left. I have started up my new engine combo The goal is to run solid 8`s next year and hopefully lower the bar for SY/TY. I hope I will see you all next year at the NATS.

Some of you might think that I´m a little bit arrogant, not answering all the questions. As you all know, I´m not a "keyboardknight" and the language is a problem. Sorry about that.

He had NOS before when truck was at nats. Not very much just a little kick. As it turns out he never really got to use it. Well I think he did once, but the fuel jet was so large the NOS didnt help.

Yes U have sharp eyes, as Jeff mentioned its only for a lithle kick, because the badass dont like to much boost at start (we´ve played with under 10 psi) so Robert did as every body els did. a safety spool kick of n2o.. bu it did not do anything but maybee let the air be a lithle cooler than without..

Often Robert was so "stressed" out so he forgot to turn the n2o on :O we played with 75 Hp.. but no need. the BB turbo spols up within 0.8 sec so it got to much to handle anny way...


About the A2A, the radiator is to be behind it.. cool or what

Lots of testing of new code 59 features Dig made - Output of KR to a guage to match the ALDL KR value. It is killer. - I have to get more pictures and a video up of this.
Redid the $59 XDF and the 2 & 3 Bar $58 XDFs with Digs help - he gave me a nice Document that grumpy (R.I.P.) had.

4L80e installed with Jeff's help
JS 3" DP for PTE Turbo (Flange and wastegate from Turbotime)
PTE67BB PTrim from Turbotime
3" Core Air to Air Installed
65# Injectors
Redid all the wiring behind the dash to fix some #%#@* alarm and other harness mods that were done before I got it
Steel Braided AN lines for Fuel, Turbo, Tranny and Coolant lines to Heater Core.
Dual Spal E-fans on Radiator

Things to be done in 2008

Edelbrock 2111 Intake and TB swap (black typhoon)
JS A-Arms and Coil-overs installed upfront (black typhoon)
eDist and LS1 Coils installed (black typhoon) (had the parts for 3 years now)

New Motor(budget build), Turbo and Tranny (using old lower intake from black typhoon) into my original white typhoon to be a daily driver

2008 Goals

Get into the Mid 11's on complete stock motor (except intake) if possible. (Black Typhoon) - All on code59 of course.
Get my white typhoon back up and running as a Daily Driver

well i hoping now to use a 60-1 turbo off my gn (i have the 4 bolt to 3 bolt adapter)and an 11 inch 3000 stall converter to make things interesting for me-
the word is hoping

i had aspirations of an innovative bb turbo but tooo much hassle to get the exhaust housing to work with my atr down pipe.

I hope to just touch the truck. Only thing I've done to it in the last 2+ years was move it from my dads barn into my garage. Hopefully, I'll have the frame powdercoated next year and the body off to paint. My body guy will probaby have the body for a year or so. He's slow like that, but really good, and cheap. Hopefully have the chassis and suspension done in '09, and the motor/trans finished by '10.

My goal is to get the 6776bb turbo installed and a little tuning with the ostrich see if i can hit some 10's this year. Will also be reproducing atr headers for the masses.
