What are my options for fuel lines?

Previous owner bent the f@ck out of the lines when he replaced the fuel filter.....left a twisted up mess on both sides (towards engine and towards gas tank). I'm going to have to replace all fuel lines......so, what are my options? Any kits out there?

I've heard negative reviews about braided (constant fuel smell??), so I may go back with OEM type lines.....thoughts?

Stock so far....but plan on a few upgrades later, but nothing major.

you can run AN hose in between the tank and the transfercase bulkhead.

whenever I see someone complain about fuel smell on a braided hose set up is because they don't have the ends installed correctly. A lot of times they aren't leaking- but are seeping- just enough so their isn't a drip but a residue on the ends and even the smallest leak of fuel can cause a pretty strong smell

Copper tubing. Used 3/8" od for both from tank to filter and tank to transfer case. Also slid foam insulation on before I was done. I'm a nobody, but I got the idea from Hood a few years ago...Jim

Its pretty well proven that braided rubber lines permeate and thus cause the fuel smell

Its been talked about to death, if you want braided you must use either ptfe or ptfe lined braided hose and the correct ends. I used some goodridge ptfe lines with braiding on them, they are just like new car lines but bigger and with braiding on them.

I so you have 3 choices,
buy new stainless stock lines from sportmachines, which is the easiest

Make your own stainless lines, more difficult but you can customize to your liking

buy braided ptfe line, most expensive but easy to route
