What chip?

Hey guys i'm still a newbie to the game, so please excuse me.
I have a 93 Ty, it has ATR 3" down pipe with external wastegate, 3" ATR catback, TE44 (kit from ATR), 009 injectors (42.5#) and ATR cold air. I want to get a good chip, where should I go. I would like mid to low 12's and streetablity since this this is my driver. I have tried a couple differnt ATR chips, but the truck runs way to rich, to much timing etc.

problem i forsee is that the ultimate isn't going to work with 42.5# injecters....with a te44 turbo, you would likely be ok with stock injecters. I'd either go back to stock or go with the 50# injecters...of course the ultimate would have to be the 50# version if you decided on that.

Ultimte is simply not a plug and play chip...if you have problems, the'll get worse. just trying to inform ya.

I say go with a proven stock injector setup (good stock inj and a good calibration by someone) + methanol injection kit, or 50# injectors + a good calibration.

There are several options for you, as far as chips for either of those injectors. Only a few have messed with the 009's, and they are a PITA.

Where in MI are you? There are lots of people willing to help in Michigan if you ever need it. I would go with a custom chip if I were you, but you need to have datamaster, so the chip can be burned to your setup. Ultimate is a pretty generic chip, but it will work fine if you have 50 lb injecotrs. Really depends on what you want to do with the truck...... Just my opinion.
