My TEAL SoGT seems to be somewhere inbetween the two.
If you look inside the door near the hinges on the second pic... It seems to be a different color. I wonder if it was a repaint? Did a good jon on the firewall if it was. I think some of the other pics on Ebay show color varriations better but I dunno. Just my
I'm almost positive my SoGT (Bright Teal) is Base/Clear, why wouldn't the TY's be the same? I can see that the SY's were a year earlier so possibly not.Jimmy said:

FWIW, I was looking at the PPG paint samples for 1992-1993 GM trucks today, and they have 5 or 6 different teals. "Bright Teal" is the one used on Typhoons, though Merk has mentioned that a different teal may have made it onto at least one Typhoon as a test-color.
I would say that the reason for the differences in those pictures lies in the condition of the paint, the lighting, and the photo development.

Anyway,Bright Teal is what I have on SoGT#549 and I agree that it looks better at night.
For me it's definately not a gay factor... It was cool knowing that it was different and stood out.

I'll trade my dark green metallic for a teal anyday. I think besides the white/white Ty's the teal runs a close second along with the blue Ty's looking the best. And my booty is EXIT ONLY......FO SHO. I've just always liked being different. Since age 16 having 2 yellow S-10's and 1 yellow S-10 Blazer.

Bright Teal is the gay color. I don't know what the other teal looks like. PPG also had "Dark Teal", "Dark Teal Metallic", "Light Teal", and maybe another one as well listed for GM in '92-'93.
