Let's see a pic, that's what I'm considering, but want to make sure it's low enough :myclone:
I'll post a pic but it's not going to look right because i have about 300lbs of crap in the back of the ty right now. Plus the front fenders are off and the front hasn't been lowered yet so it kinda has a prerunner look right now haha.

It's going to be a 1-finger gap after a couple of weeks after the leafs settle, and you might be riding on the bump stops.

i was factoring in the break in period when i said 2 finger gap. There's quite a bit of room between the axle and the bump stops... err more than there was on my Syclone that had 3" blocks. If I can easily get 2 fingers between the cladding and the tire with 300lbs in the back I should be ok. Plus I set the Koni's on the 2nd stiffest setting. It's gonna ride like a jack hammer but that's fine since it's not a daily driver. It's gonna be awhile before I can break these in since the truck doesn't run haha.

do you have any pictures of the syclone with the 3" blocks and did you ever have any rubbing issues with it

syclone with 3" blocks. The front rubbed pretty bad and wore the inside edge of the cladding down but that stopped after I installed stiffer shocks. Never had any issues with the back rubbing though.

Typhoon with drop leafs and 2" blocks (with 300lbs in the back and front not lowered yet)

AFPR, Fuel Gauge and did the soft lines for the I/C.

I was dreading bleeding the IC but with the soft lines and just lifting the IC higher than the lines made it simple. I also have the pump hotwired to a switch inside so I could cycle it. Anyone else do it this way?

Changed oil yesterday & found IC pump dangling, it broke clamps holding it on & then found pump barely hanging onto motor. Need to get this fixed ASAP.

Re: What did you do to your SY/TY today?

heater core started spewing last weekend, 2nd core of this summer. So i pulled the core, bypassed the lines and covered the holes in the firewall. Just before i removed the core i had a Code35 check engine light flash on. Of course there always must be 1 thing broken for my truck to run good. So as soon as the heater core was removed, the truck refused to idle, and the IAC gave up. So today i'm gonna put a new IAC on, and intentionally loosen an exhaust clamp. I can deal with a loose exhaust, and the truck should function 100%.

Re: What did you do to your SY/TY today?

Pulled the master cylinder so I can begin the task of moving it two inches higher on the firewall. Already have the aluminum plate I'm going to use, so this should be easy.... which is right about where most projects fall completely apart :D
