Replaced the motor mounts. Driver side was easy because the rubber just pulled in two but the passenger side is quite the pain

Changed the oil and bled the brakes. (had a bit of air in the rears it seems.) Leaving everything else alone in preparation for Las Vegas. If it ain't broke don't fix it. Much as I'd like to give it a tune up, plugs, cap, rotor, timing, I think I'll just leave well enough alone and just bring stuff in case.

It's easier to ask for forgiveness, than it is to ask for permission......

Going through the same thing.
I am ready to tell the wife, the next time she says something (mainly complaining), that I can go get it from the painter right now and put it in the front yard with a for sale sign on it.

Re: What did you do to your SY/TY today?

Finished up the install of the RPM CAI kit on my RPM Stage1 turbo. Lots of little mods to do:
- partial refab of the CAI tubing
- tranny cooler refit on the radiator
- clearancing of CAI tubing for stock tranny line reroute
- mounted the factory radiator overflow tank on driver's side fender
- PCV solution
- refit of hardpipe for clearance
- bending of factory AC lines for additional clearance
- H2O temp sender install
- new thermo (pic of bad unit later)
- radiator and IC overflow line refit and retoutes

OMG.... it sounds like the Hoover from hell, ready to suck up small pets and children at any stoplight! I'll take a vid tomorrow and post it.

I can tell that the stock air box and crossover were restrictive and that I'll be going back to the tuning tables to optimize things again.

All-in-all a good part/installation.... just some patience and fabbing skills required.

replaced #6 wire again, burnt through again. I think i might have it solved now with a 45deg boot... maybe.

installed a different head unit, stock delco cassette with an aux input port.

pulled the shift rpms down.
