Installed the downpipe and exhaust system to the cat.

Then I fired up the rebuilt engine for the first time. :thumbsup: I'm so happy.

Then I found my radiator has a leak and will have to be replaced. And the electric fans didn't kick on for some reason so I had to wire them to run all of the time. :rant:

19 Months... How about ten years? You can ask warmpancakes about the stupid grin all over my face. Good to hear your truck is running again! And yours too, Frank.

All I've done to mine lately is wax it. I need another one...

Thats a neat story, BUT its different looking at your truck that you drove almost daily for a few years .... wishing it ran for 19 months , than buying a truck that sat for 10 years and getting it to run.

Your sig says you bought that truck in Feb 2008 :) . Imagine it didnt run since you bought it, then you got it to fire up FINALLY.... still wouldnt really be the same though; you didnt bond with it before it broke :p ---

Congrats. Since my radiator was the original (i am the original owner of the Ty), i replaced it before starting the truck.

Bought a smaller coolant recovery tank for the Ty today. The original takes up too much space.

washed the fan shorud in the bath tub. bought some paint for the frame gonna try to apply DP-90 with a brush

Sooo.. i just put in the Td06H-20g that i got from Lepore.. totally forget that my stock actuator wont work with it :rotf: soo now, i'm looking for a Cheap upgraded stock one.. or for a regular 20g actuator.. if anyone has one lmk via PM:tup:

Hey man, yeah haven't been able to get out much this year, been pretty busy. Hopefully I'll be able to make it out more next year.

Today I found out that my air filter was preventing me from building boost. On my way to autozone it fell out and I ran it over. Got to autozone to discover that they dont have a replacement.

Just how bad was your air filter? And where did it fall out of, your tail pipe? :rotf:

Put mine away for the winter, now it will be a while before I can drive it again. Guess it's time to start looking for stuff to put on it in the spring.

I fixd my exhuast leak and spent a couple hours tuning my truck with code $59. I make some progress, but still a lot of work to do.

I pulled the Ty out of the garage, treated it with AMSOIL Engine Flush, and then changed the oil and filter. Its been a while since I walked into the apartment stinking of motor oil.
