scored some long obselete but NOS fender to cowl seals ( open your door and look infront of the hinges) they are LONG obselete from GM but I found a set :D:tup:

i have done nothing with it since i drove it to the FAST meet last month! matter of fact is still have not unloaded it! my futon mattress is still tucked away in the bed along with my luggage and tool box.

I installed the rear (Bilstein Sport) shocks. They raised the rear hgher than the Belltech Nitro Drop shock it had, even though it has lowering blocks. I have to correct that.
I will (time and my daughter permitting) install the front ones tomorrow.

I removed the roof rack and welded the holes. Dynamatted the roof. Installed a rear glass with no wiper or defogger.

I installed the front (Bilstein Sport) shocks on my Ty. I think it actually had the OEM shocks on it. When I took them off I was able to compress them with no effort. Now my Ty sits so high it looks like I could go off roading with it.

I petty much finish my rack and pinion setup,on my ty. hopefully, i can drive it bye the end of next week.

I removed my cladding to repair and paint it.

Replaced the turbo and cussed every bit of the way, too! :rotf:

Didn't finish, but just have to put the fender well and wheel back in tomorrow morning.

took vortecs to the machine shop for 2.02 1.625, fully ported,ls2 beehive springs,crower sttainless steal rocker arms,crower lifters and crower pushrods should be done by the end of next week:rotf:

Finished installing gas tank after fuel pump swap, fuel filter and rear differential oil change. Jack stands, floor jack and doing this solo is a task, better to have some help on this and a car lift next time. Before I take it of jack stands I will check the catalyst and change front differential fluids.


Any other things I should check or change while its up???? Thanks

polished my valve covers, bought these used and were pretty rough.

mounted white corner indicators...


...and cut the bolts of the hubs to fit hubcaps (not to be seen in the image).

found leaking oil but don't know where ist comes from...:(

Removed the catalyst this morning and it is clean,clear and can see light through it , pretty good for being stock with 106k miles. Front differential oil change next!
