plugged leaky oil pipe adaptor, new o-ring, primed engine properly this time, turned it over and flushed oil system, changed oil filter, installed distributor, installed fuel rail, installed upper intake and test fit TB. finished 90% of battery reloate to boot and ran wires forward through the frame.
Tried making some nitrile rubber fuel hoses - what a bitch that is. Might stick with braided!

Dang since '05 ? You're doing pretty good IMO... My bud left his truck out for an entire winter after building a HUGE garage. For reasons only known to himself, he decided to keep it outside all winter long. A moldy truck in the spring was the result:
I checked for leaks under the truck just now. It was moved to a clean spot on the driveway last night and i could still see a droplet of tranny fluid on the edge of my t pan again. No puddle but i can see where a couple drops have fell since just last night.
Ive r+r this pan 3 times now and this is the best ive done yet . Maybe i forget about it for a little bit . Only have couple things left till drivetime .
I shreaded yet another serpintine belt, so not I have to address that problem and figure out if I have a bad pulley or what is going on. I thought I was gonna get my C6's put on until this happend, Ihad my tires mounted on the rims so thats one step closer to getting them on.
attached my exhaust system minus the dp
threaded the spark wires with the protective boots
connected fuel lines
attached front prop and torqued up all 8 bolts
attached rear prop and torqued up all 4 bolts (27 ft lbs - wtf? AND they're tiny)
tidied up PCS wiring harness and epoxied the plug for prop shaft clearance
narrowed down my list of things to do before starting it up.....
