Forgot to mention....I found this when changing the oil filter! Guess the new air filter and battery move will be done sooner than I thought! Thank goodness for electrical tape....

Started the AC removal/Mike Campbell Alternator Turnbuckle adaptation yesterday.

I should have it done next weekend as I'm gone most of the week with work.

swapped out my black VDO boost gauge for an autometer C2... the VDO is for sale (mechanical 0-30 boost no vac) make an offer

I finally finished replacing the heater core. Then I installed a new battery and charged the other one in the rear of the Ty. Its been stuck in garages for years and so I took her to get washed. Its been to restored to stock with the exception of the turbo and exhaust system. She now idles great however she does not run like a typhoon.....yet. I'm running about 10# of boost. Once I get the wideband, I start tinkering with Code 59. Today has been an awesome day.

finished installing the coilover kit and then started on the wiring for the 4l80 swap.

Its been a year and 2 months since my wreck ... and I FINALLY got a new hood, grille, set of headlights, front bumper, front bumper cover, drivers fender, drivers cladding, fabbed core support, and new radiator ordered . I should have it up and running sooner than later!!!

I miss my truck ---

lets see over the weekend completely gutted both doors, (100%) removed the drivers door to prep it for paint, pulled hood and cowl, to prep for paint got ready to weld up 30 some holes in the roof, gutted 75% of the interior, still have to have the quarter glass and windshield pulled for paint and pull the fenders. rear gate removed all factory seam sealer because I didnt like the sloppy job GM did, bought all ne weather stripping for doors,

Left to do
rebuild both door latching mechs
replace both power window motors (regulators are out)
have inner fender wells powdercaoted and rhino lined
fix RH rear corner
weld 30 some holes in roof
scuff quarters
paint entire truck including jams
install new glass
oh did I mention truck hasnt been started in a few months

have it done for nationals

Worked on fabricating a 3" downpipe for my syclone i'm not done yet but hopefully it will be done tomorrow!

I had the honor of replacing the damn heater core today. What a pain in the ass! Oh well, it is done and I hope I did everything right. I don't whant to have to do that again any time soon.

Replaced my broken grille with an ebay unit (perfect fit and finish for $57 shipped), replaced the fuel filter, and did some more polishing. 17 year old paint, ughh..

droped it off at the paint shop to have the door jams painted for the dust off.

Finished up putting a 412 cam and vortec's on my truck,did some other things too new SS fuel lines,oil lines and a nice polished timming cover.Fired right up drove it around the block. No leaks so far.

I got my IC pipe back from the welder :tup:

My welder put a hole in my 2-4 Band trying to reinforce it :tdown:

Atleast he didn't charge me for either part because he felt bad.
