Made some brackets to mount the blinkers in to the new fiberglass front bumper cover. Worked on straightening out my fog light mounting brackets.
Also inspected the rt front axle as the boot is ripped and its leaking grease. Dangit!

Dropped off the motor for the new one at the machinist, and then drooled over my pretty lsx block that will be next after the 4.3 is done.

Removed the bad brake booster the other day... was easier than I thought. Need to install the new one.

Took apart the new Mildon oil pump this evening. Smoothed out some of the flashing and roughness from the casting and found a piece of slag in the middle of one of the channels. Still need to finish porting but it's about 85% done. Going to have to polish the bottom plate as well. I can see wear marks from where they flow tested it at the factory. More work than the last melling I had, but I won't stay at awake at night worrying that the neck is going to break.

Going to order more parts from Summit soon...

Enjoyed driving it. Since I owned it (june) and after I tuned it up. Drove it around today with no problems. I am addicted!

Now I know why it took 18 months to get my ass in gear to start fixing up my truck after the wreck.

I sent it to the bodyshop with all the parts I thought I needed, now they are nitpicking me with vacuum canisters, brackets, "not being able to install my custom radiator support" , ect ect ect. Its been in the shop 2 weeks already with no real progress ---

Pulled the starter, prop shaft, drive shaft, drained tranny and took off the linkage:tup: With a little muscle help from harmon:rotf:

Got the engine started since the new rebuild, haven't driven it yet though.

Washed and waxed her and took her out for a spin. No imports to embarrass, though...LOL

Used a wire wheel to remove all of the original cracked and dried out seam sealer on the doors and tail gate so I can install new and then paint over it and never see what i spent 8 hours doing

I took the Ty off the road today and put it in the garage. i want to get everything sorted ready for our skiing trip to France in January. We normally do about 1800 miles. Jobs i need to do are.
1 new radiator
2 full service inc all fluids changed and put my 180stat back in
3 replace dp gasket
4 fit roof rack eek: drilling holes in my pride and joy)
5 fit snow tyres to my stock alloys
6 to 99 is for all the jobs i don't know about yet:lol:

Congrats on actually driving it! I can't wait til I get to do that again.....
