well it first look at it and saw the red color and i felt in love with it then i turn it on and got it out my garage and lok at it again lok at those curves sexy .......

I took out the #12 sheet metal screw that a *nice* customer at Advance Auto Parts hooked me up with


Almost too far over to fix

Time to put my youngest to work

I'd like to Thank the customer for that

Started to clear out half of the garage that was being taken up by SyTy Parts and surfboards to make room for the Ty so it doesnt have to sit outside all the time. Plus, I need a spot to work on swapping the TC in the trans :D

Also, digging around, I found an old set of clears I had....so currently refurbing them (post on that later) and will install those on the Ty soon enough.

This weekend I took some time and actually got to the steering box swap on the Sy. Almost done. Just need to connect the lines and its good. Also did the idler arm, removed it and got a new one to stick on there today. Next I will finish the front brakes and do both front axles.

removed engine, changed oil pan gasket and header gaskets, then installed engine back in. 12 hrs.

Sorry peckerwood.....no one asked for your opinion if it was right. Maybe one day you could take the time to restore a badly beaten high mileage truck from the frame up and make it one of a kind.

Since you gave your opinion...i gave mine......now we are even. :D

Applied for Texas Clean Air voucher bc I failed emissions. I think it's just a stuck thermostat bc it never goes over 135 degrees but I hopefully get a $600 voucher to spend. ;)

Started detailing the engine bay. Steel brush, Simple Green, rags, and 1500 grit sandpaper=my friends. Replaced some vacuum lines so my brakes feel better.

Side lamps, tried ABS delete but missing bits, drove it, put sponsor sticker in the window, repaired the cladding.

Fog lamps and sway bar to do tomorrow plus running lamps and wipers.

Runs good!

Installed new trans and new torque converter, going to take it off jack stands and take it for a ride.

Replaced the vacuum control for the hvac in dash. What a pain in the arse. No more hisssssssss when the heat is on...Jim
