New NGK plugs and Taylor wires.
Running goooood...
Next up, a new muffler, as the stock one on there is going out and it's annoying the hell out of me.

fixed the passenger rear speaker, swapped out the winter rims and tires for the stockers, still trying to fix the leaks from the kick panels. The driver side floor pan where the body mount is, is shot.... the love hate relationship continues......

Stockers all cleaned up

Source of the passenger side leak in the kick panel. GM tech told me that water shouldnt be getting anywhere near this anyway, so there is another problem.

Part of the problem, the plastic is warped and the flap doesnt close all the way.

Taking it to a couple of body shops tomorrow, including the local Chevy dealer. See what kinda of quotes I get to fix the leaks/floor pan/body mount and paint for the fenders.

If anyone has any suggestions for how to stop/prevent the rust, or what might be the cause please chime in. Also see these threads

Finished my projects on her for this weekend...upgraded the IC pump to a Johnson and replaced the coolant lines and installed the new turbo to IC pipe with the BOV.

NICE Mike! I bet your loven that BOV! Hoses look good too.

Thanx, Ruddell! Slowly but surely, I'm bringing this truck back to how the previous owner shoulda been taking care of it. When I did the pump exchange, I discovered that the old pump had been outta commission for quite some time, more than likely before I even bought the truck. She was honest about some curb damage to the right front corner, and it seems the damage extended into the IC heat exchanger mounting brackets. The old return hose had a pinch in it and the old metal lines were rusted and corroded on the insides. I'm really getting an education in working on these vehicles, but I wouldn't have it any other way.

replaced my 50 injectors for 65's. rehooked the waterlines too the dbb turbo, and man if you deleted them at one time, and you want to put the stuff back on it's a PITA. also took the ultimate out, and installed the moates.
for you people thinking about doing a 4'' intake on a turbo with stock manifolds, i say no! it's tighty mighty!
fired right up with no leaks!
only have to shut the wasegate flapper now

Took the piece of crap, bad 6-month old Wal-Mart Everstart Maxxx battery out of it and went down to Wally World and replaced it with another POS Wal-Mart Everstart Maxxx battery, under warranty.... and consumer reports said these are great batteries??

The first one of these I got went 2 months & started not holding a charge. Turned out that the liquid inside the battery is what holds the charge... :roll:If it leaks out, it won't hold a charge.
They politely cleaned it up, As I bitched & moaned:rant:. Good thing it was in the Tahoe & not the GT's.

Today I installed a new vacuum hose kit made from fake breast material. The hoses look really perky.
