Swapped out a suspected worn out TV cable (have yet to go test it out driving) and removed my DP to add some copper gasket maker between it and the exhaust side of the turbo to hopefully close up a leak there as well.

Fresh oil change with ZDDP additive, cut off the stock muffler that was completely blown out, gave her a bath and fired her up. Took her for a spin and made 20 psi! Boost doesn't seem steady tho it surges between 12-20psi but still the most boost Ive seen since I bought the truck.

I rescued them from the pile of crap that was covering them. And I added my Brian Green sticker to the back window. Not sure how long I'll leave it on, assuming I ever get it running again. Thanks Renz for the vinyl.

After: Still broken, but much cleaner!

Digging the sticker, a little smaller and I would get one. Drove it, finally. Ls1 front and rear brakes done, except for e-brake cables. They are coming. Fixed a piece of cladding with 5 min. epoxy. Installed engine tie-down, grill insert finished, chip redone by Hood and washed it. Ran great, handled better with jeep shaft and new ball joints and stopped very well with new brake setup. Really looking forward to getting some miles on it. Bought speed bleeders from Autozone the other day. They were the wrong ones, should have figured. Had to gravity bleed the brakes. Seemed to work well. Was a good day...Jim

Took it to the alignment shop this morning...putting in the adjustable trunion 1" lowering blocks in the rear, and a 4-wheel alignment. Also threw in a new set of lower ball joints because the old ones had a tiny bit of slop... first time anyone other than me has worked on it :(

New pass side halfshaft, drive axle, cv joint, whatever you want to call it. The inner boot was ripped and man was it messy under there.

Changed the oil, front brake pads and washed her. Time to start pulling the cladding and doing prep for paint.

Installed my Deltran Battery Tender Jr. It's nice with the quick connect. Just unplug it, tuck the cord and go. No messing with alligator clips or anything. It's sensitive too. You see the charge light start to flash as soon as you open the driver door and the dome light comes on.
