Busy couple of days!

Yes the stock wheels, the front passenger wheel seems to have caught a curb from the previous owner... I've had the truck for a year only 2k miles on it so far and every time I get just above highway speed it vibrated very bad. I'll see about tossing some pics up if I can find my camera

The bilsteins are nice, I put monroes in my v8 s10 and they rode quite well too, figured I'd keep the Sy as close to stock spec/parts as I can for now.

Went thru some old pics from last fall with a photo op next to my dads Harley F-450. Quite a differrence in the stance of these two thanks to an air ride system and tires/wheels. I am definately not a Ford fan but that thing is a BEAST.

Installed my red silicone hose kit from Sportmachines. Very nice set-up and detailed write-up on installation. :tup:

Changed plugs, serviced transfer case oil, cut off exhaust because I got tired of trying to change the plugs from around it! lol

Poo Poo on the Monroes, I'd rather ride on just springs. KYB makes some decent cheaper ones instead. Just my .02

Installed my colorbeam headlights in the Sy. It looks old school now I love it.

Walked past the Ty a bunch of times....... Looked at the new engine all covered up on the stand and "wished" it into the truck. After 5 minutes of that I came to the realization that I'm going to have to pull time out of my ass and put it in. Oh well, some other day I guess. And I agree, 2 thumbs up for monomax's.

Woke this morning and went outside pulled the Ty out of the garage and wiped it down loaded up the fold up chairs and coller then received call from my buddy saying he was not feeling well and was not going to the show today @ Pouch Camp. Really do not want to go and not know anyone. Went and put fuel in the Ty and took it for a ride, contemplating whether to got to show or not.

Got the engine in finally, Primed and started. Set timing, running very good with stock chip. Repaired all of the cladding and mounted. Headed to the Exhhaust shop for pipe from 3" down pipe to Dumptube. Will be on the road next week some time.

Took the Sy in for smog test, and it passed with plenty of room to spare. Of course the Sy is pretty much stock.

Did the LED gauge light conversion looks sweet and installed an MSD gm coil
