Fun day with the truck today!
9am-10:30am: Spent looking for a fitting to t an oil feed line off of the remote oil filter housing.
11am-12:00 noon: Installed said line and put battery, air box, etc back onto truck
12:00 noon - 1:30pm: DROVE IT!
1:30pm - 2:30pm - Quick wash
4:30pm - DROVE IT AGAIN!
4:45pm - Steering box took a shit 5 miles from home. Fortunately was at about 5mph in a parking lot and not 45mph going around a curve.
5:15pm - Loaded it on a flatbed.
Good news: engine is great. turbo is great. runs great
Bad news: Doesn't steer worth a shit now.
Ironically, I knew that something was amiss with the steering before even pulling the motor out of the truck in December and it was scheduled to go in tomorrow to get diagnosed and repaired. Oh the fun.
Starting to think this truck likes being driven just long enough to get a bath.

Went nuts with the Porter-Cable:

Still have the roof and the left rear bed side left to do. It's kinda surprising how bad things really were- I thought I was pretty careful with it.
It is 20 years old, I guess.

Aside from the blood, looking good, Chip! XXX Rootbeer next month?
Finally put them in their new home.
Started removing the Edelbrock headers to send off for ceramic coating.
& got some boo-boos in the process.
