I apologized to my ty for the fact that is has been down for 2 months because ive been to busy to buy and install an intake plenum gasket. heh.

Drove the Ty around Seattle today, looking for places to get some powdercoating done. Actually sprayed the weatherstrip down last night with silicone spray, and now I've got almost no squeaks. Neat, but now I hear the exhaust leak even worse.......

Spent two hours at the DMV lastnight, finally got her registered and in my name. Should have a title in a few weeks to a month I would guess. Going to take her for her maiden voyage after rebuild today, after I stop for a new batterty on the way home!

installed and working.
today, moving onto buffing and polishing the C5 wagon wheels that we painted and hopefully installing a temporary ramcharger fan shroud until i make my CF one.

Put the stock wheels/tires back on it.... the Welds/Hoosiers developed a *severe* vibration after sitting for 4 years. I suspect that there might be internal tire trouble on one of the fronts.
Actually took it for a drive, for an extended period. It runs like crap- the base 60# tune is in it and I haven't done anything to it. That'll get fixed shortly.

I sandblasted my gas tank straps and then ruberized undercoated, my new tank and the old straps so I can get the gas tank back in it soon. I also picked up my new sending unit and installed my Walbro pump in it. Picked up some more oil for her too so I can have her running again in the next day or two. So I can try and find out why there is gas in my oil, I really hope it is the rings are not seated yet and thats all!

I inflated the tires back to correct pressure (35psi right?) Gave it a nice bath, vaccumed and shampooed the carpets, powerballed the wheels (I HATE polished aluminum!) Changed the oil...(questions about that in a bit) and took it for a nice cruise and a baby boost launch...
Now I just have to find a way to lower the torsion bars in the front...since its about 1.5" - 2" taller than stock and looks rediculous....the nose is always pointed to the sky... it looks like WOT when in park...
What is the correct oil pressure this truck should run at?
My oil pressure gauge is usually at the 3/4 mark, and then when it warms up is at the 1/2 mark or a little bit above... is that average? I can't seem to find details about the correct oil PSI anywhere....
Also, does it make any noticeable difference to use Royal Purple 10w30 rather than Mobil1 10W30?
