Did some cleaning on the ty, cut the 20yr old exhaust off to install the new borla mullfer and tip. Im using the factory tailpipe. I only had to weld up a few pin holes and clean it up,it wasnt in bad shape for being 20yrs old. Got the heater core in, It also wasnt as bad of a job as I thought it would be,THANKS to all that posted tips in my thread about the heater core worries!
Also got the front sway bar cleaned up and repainted for the new bushings.

Renewed the pitman arm, idler arm and all the tie rod ends with new moog parts. While doing so, I realised previous owners obviously had no idea what they or their mechanics were doing. Pitman arm now installed correctly and idler arm at correct height. Set up toe-in to 2.5mm total which I was led to believe was about right for the 'enhanced' setting. Not finished yet, as I have found lots of other things wrong whilst I had the intercooler off.the weather isn't conducive today, so it will have to wait.

Tekstyle Tonneau cover
Alpine PDX-5 Amp with 10" shallow mount Alpine Type S sub
Sony Head Unit with bluetooth and Pandora cell phone control app
ACC Mass Back black carpet (pain in the ass, no cut outs for anything!)
Two layers of Dynamat on floors and back of cab
Threw in some LED bulbs for shifter, floor and dome lights (I love this!)
Reinforced console mounts...one left to do
Tightened up some cladding & ordered a replacement "eyebrow"
Installed:

Finally got it inspected (first time since buying it) which means got the exhaust buttoned up with the magnaflow muffler I bought from Dave:

No more exhaust leaks. Quiet on the inside, great sound on the outside. :tup:
Passed emissions with no problem. Needed wipers only to pass.

Installed the second wiper arm and replaced some light bulbs. Now I just need to track down why the left bumper works as a blinker but not a parking light, and why the reverse lights don't come on at all.

changed out the starter, what a bitch that was. none of the bolts in the trans housing cover wanted to come out and the prop shaft bolts didnt want to come out either. oh and then washed her and went for a drive.

Picked my bowtie block up from Yrc freight! Freshly machined 4.155 bores. Valve notched radius on cyls!! Polished block interior for drain back. I do have to install another rear main cap / align hone because guy had converted to dry sump! Conv back to wet... Gotta plug some holes which isn't a problem because of the dry sump conversion! I've got a new Bryant 3.450 stroke oddfire crank on its way! Will come in at 280ci like hoovers truck! Will be using my pontiac heads on it! Can't wait!

Lets see.... got a 3" pipe welded on to dump at the axle so i can now here myself think inside the cab, open dp was just so loud and rattled everything.. Fixed my shift needle to tell what gear im in.. Installed new radiator cap, Got my blower motor to work again so i have heat, Put the passenger side wheel well back in since im done playing with the turbo for now, Then cleaned her up and took her out for a drive last night and cruise...
Then got up this morning and went to breakfast with the g/f... Let her drive home and took her on a curvy road and told her go as fast as you feel comfortable with, the ty pretty much laughed since the g/f was scared hahah, then turned around and did it again and went a little faster.. In the end, G/f loves boost and good handling ahha
