Finished the front coilovers with twinturbov8 (jeff). Got it washed and drove it to a car show a couple towns over. Felt great with the Sportmachines AFCO shocks and springs. I still have some loose ends to finish over the coming months, but I think the hard stuff is over.

Got her loaded up and I drive home early am.

Took the original bilsteins off the front of the parts Ty. (They're for sale)
Moved the sgt to the lift so I could pull the fog lights while standing. Looked at the bumperette that I have to put on.....but didn't.

Bought a tru-boost from a member, got another gauge pod forthe cup holders from Mr.King, looking for a coolant gauge for intercooler coolant or egt temp gauge , which one would you get?

Is someone selling carpet kits again or did you find a used one? I would love to find one.

That looks good. Where did you find one? and how is the fit?

The fit was quite good. Gaylords lids has them but they are $375. Not too cheap, but it is actually pretty nice. Wood backing on the side pieces and padding on the carpet on the floor. I would recommend it.

Ordered a Tonneau from them also but the fit was pretty bad so they are making a new one.

Yeah man this truck was a pile of Shit unfortunately and I enjoy working on cars but this P.O.S. was beyond what my buddy has to put into it. I've got about 11k into mine and this was beyond what I had to do to mine to get it to run as reliable as it has for the 43k miles I've put on it. here's some pics that I sent my buddy to show him what we were working with and the last pic is how my truck cought the flu from the poor poor truck. I feel sorry for the guy after me who bought this thing.

So my truck broke down the other day when I my friend And I were trying to get him a Ty & finally got it fixed today. It wouldn't let me apply any gas without cutting out so I took back roads down to the checker and got a e g r code & I had replaced the EGR solenoid before with a part from autozone when I replaced my EGR valve so I crawl home from the checker and get my stock EGR solenoid and hook it up next to the auto zone piece of Shit and the truck runs perfect and I drove it home 50 miles up hill now I'm gonna pull the p.o.s. part out and bolt in the working one clean the truck and go to the cruise to the pines show.

Washed it. Got ready for cruise night...but changed my mind at last minute to have dinner with daughter. Dad of the friggin' year.

(the back end is not that high...my driveway slopes down from right side of truck)

Finished up reinstalling my starter with the new power wire from the battery relocate, alternator wire and purple wire, all wrapped up in corrugated tubing and then heat shield. Took so long since I was doing it between rain showers and thunder storms.

That forge gate is super spooling that turbo! Good job tuning her up, she needed it
Thanks for the info on this Erik. I am going to verify my speedo with a GPS to see where 100 mph actually is. From the video I think I am under 6 seconds 0-60. The brakes would not hold for higher boost launch. I cant wait for my brake upgrade.(hint, hint)
FYI this is the wastegate I'm running.

Drove it 1.5 miles into town. Washed it. Drove back home 1.5 miles, parked it in a different spot in the driveway. Looked at all the sh** I've gotta do to it... Locked it up and came inside.
That's the 1st time since...... October???? that I've moved it more than a few feet. I ALMOST put a socket to a bolt...but didn't. I've got a nice part pile going tho.

Re: What did you do to your SyTy today? (part 2)

Installed the jwaller stock modified turbo. Still have a few items to finish up before it comes off the jack stand though. During install I realized that I forgot to remove the bracket that holds the wastegate solenoid off the core (which the USPS lost, so neither waller nor I have it). Does anyone have a spare wastegate solenoid bracket floating around?

Can't wait to get it off the jackstand!

ABS Delete.
Cruise Delete.
Removed Upper/Lower for powdercoating.
Test fit RPM CAI.
Removed all vac lines for replacement.

Fought with last lower core support/donut bolt using everything I had. The bitch won't come out. That's the last thing holding the support on, then that comes off for PC and AC get's removed.

Oil cooler comes out next.

Took it off the crutch (Jackstand), and drove it for the first time in over a month. First pull blew the intake hose to the upper intercooler off. OOPS the clamp wasn't tight enough. It definitely pulls better now!

Next up, the dreaded suspension bushings and motor mount bushings...yay. Won't be real soon tough.
