went to a car show. didn't quite make it. blew my electric fan 30amp fuse. truck started overheating. RIGHT while i was on line to get into the car show. so pulled over and started swapping fuses...blah blah. didn't wanna start. maybe cause it was overheated? then i think the remote starter solenoid went bad. gonna swap it out and see what happens.

Went to the Good guys show. Discovered that I need to put a photo board together with the changes that have been done to her. It looks too much like factory, and I had to describe all the mods I've done over the past twenty years. Did get the comment that I should have won the 72 & newer truck award, not the brand new 2012 Ford truck straight off the lot. No custom parts or paint.

Driving it yesterday sure did but dude it hasn't been legal since like 05 or something and I don't see myself legalizing it anytime soon so it's just going to sit for another bunch of years

New rear shocks in on Friday, gave her a serious bath and waxing Saturday and cruised a little bit. Never looked better since I've had it. Went to a small car show Sunday and then did a little more tuning- until I tried to adjust my RJC boost controller and accidently opening it up and the ball bearing went flying on the side of the road... doh.
Drove the truck to work today to go to another cruise night tonight.

Trans leak? I noticed a coolant leak in the gn while at Woodward. Luckily it was a small leak so I just topped it off before I hit the road and made it home without issue.

Pulled the stock tailgate off today. Painter called and said my other one is done! Going to pick it up tomorrow and install it. (and hopefully not put any scratches in it!!) Also cleaned up the channels and the moldings while I have it removed.

Yup, but it doesnt look like the trans, more like trans to transfer case. I wasn't 100% happy with it when we put it back together, but that was almost 2 years ago I think. Gonna jack it up where it sits and find thr trail......

Maybe the gasket between the trans adapter and transfer case is the culprit. That would be an easy fix.

Tailgate is painted and installed. Overall, i'm pretty happy with it. The color is just a shade darker than original but thats probably due to sun fade over the years. At least its just the tailgate though which doesn't really flow with any other body panels.
