I would wager that 17yr old destroys it

I know, I have been sick thinking about it. Sorry for your run of bad luck, the wheel does look like it could be repaired.

Damn hatrick, that sucks. I missed a 6' ladder in the middle of the interstate once by about 3". I know I woulda been pissed had it hit it. Glad it didn't do more damage.

I changed out my stock nasty ass looking wheels with the newer stock ones I got last week. Truck looks MUCH better and much cleaner. Not to mention that it rides much better now that it's not cruising on bent rims.

Although, the VERY LAST lug nut on the VERY LAST wheel I was doing was seized. That sucked. Wound up breaking my lug nut wrench. I need an air compressor for mo' easieness.

Drove the Ty around on the last day for the season. Filled her up and let her rip one last time before she gets torn apart for modifications. BTW I'm at 99,996 miles. Didn't wana hit the 100k mark till next year.

Finally! After the past two Sundays spent at the craft shop, the Ty got new shoes last night. I ended up doing pretty much the entire front end: upper and lower control arm bushings, upper and lower ball joints, sway bar bushings, inner and outer tie rod ends, and idler arm. She spent the night again in the craft shop after I had replaced the tie rod ends, making sure to count threads on the old ones. The tires were mounted and balanced, but it had entirely too much toe-in set. She got towed this morning to a shop to get the alignment done. She rides like smooth glass now!

Took it for a little drive. The new engine seems to be running really well. Got the tune good for normal driving. Have a little over 100 miles on the new engine. I have decided to put about 2k miles on it before I give it to much hell. So its going to have to driven a lot more than its used to.

Went and picked up ty #1492, drove it 5.5 hours home with no issues. Its too dark to get picks but here is one from one of the gas station stops. I will get some better ones in the morning. Kevin(previous owner) was a stand up guy, drove 2.5 hours to meet me so I wouldnt have a 7-8 hour drive and put gas in the ty to boot! I really appreciate all he did for me today! Cant wait to get to work on this one and make it a really nice one.

Pulled bellhousing off and the top two tranny bolts. The rest can wait until I get the cherry picker.
