Their actually not chrome. They have been sanded totally smooth and polished to mirror finish. Pretty easy to maintain with a foam tapered polishing cone and your favorite polishing compound:lol:

Took out old P.O.S steering shaft and Installed new Modified Astro shaft and removed my cruise control because my s10 column I figured out was replaced before I bought it today, doesn't even have cruise on the blinker. I allways wonderd why I have a chevy steering wheel lol.

Well I got a brand new drivers door cladding piece before i sent to paint and did not test fit, so when I installed it back on the truck is had a huge gap at the frt (there was a bow in the cladding at the frt). Anyways I opened he door and the cladding was hitting on the front fender and the gap looked like poop. I removed the cladding and put in the sun for a couple of hours to make it soft and pliable so I could reshape it to make it fit properly, I starting to apply slight pressure and CRACK!!!!! fuk me.
Now I have repaired the the factory piece and now it will have to go the paint. Just another set back.

took it out for a beat. my old buddy Blowout showed up. I was running .018 gap with high boost and meth last summer. I've since lowered the boost and lost the meth, so i opened it to .028, and its blowing out at 8psi, lol. Regap them and see if i can hit my 12psi goal.

routine maint on slightly leaking transfer case-
magnetic drain plug had more metal then i wanted(like small pieces of a a wire wheel)- used the vacuum pump to empty it -added trans fluid
then also did the front diff the same way and replaced with synthetic gear oil.
