Took off the cladding all around because the self tappers and homemade brackets were all sagging and pulling out :tdown:

Will be washing it this afternoon though, the body doesn't look too bad underneath but there was definitely some work done that I hope to improve on, will keep the cladding off until spring because it traps snow like hell

:rant: As of now I'm sitting with it waiting for a tow, apparently I sprung a gas leak somewhere around or above The tank and it's pissing all over, too much to drive it home from work. Thank god I bought the 200 mile AAA premier this year LOL. Hopefully this is unrelated to the gas leak that I saw posted about without details though :roll:

I disassembled my 4l80 after work. The trans was damaged with no forward gears. Found that the forward and direct clutches are burnt up and rear plantary is damaged as well along with the rear thrust washer.

Replaced front brake lines with Russell SS brake lines, installed 160 degree thermostat, replaced dome lights with LED lights, replaced OEM trans pan with TCI pan adding 2 more quarts of trans fluid to trans and changed oil. Still need to replace the rear SS brake line and also the OEM steering box and pittman arm with a ZQ8 box and Moog pittman arm. Got more LED lights on the way for the interior as well. It never ends.

Pulled the gauge cluster and radio out for shipping to a repair shop in Richmond, Va.

Finished install PTE 6262 with my RPM DP. Test ran it to check for leaks. Just wish it was spring time.

New tailgate with decals, and all new speakers. Also took off the cheesy red pinstripe that my truck came with

Figuring out how to bend the stock steering hose in a horseshoe and bring it out the front to meet my hydroboost hose.

And bought more parts that will sit on the shelf for 6 months

Got the 80lb injectors installed and new plug wires showed up today.
