i had some free time in the garage on Sunday. I swapped my CarDone reman sloppy zq8 box out for a junkyard camaro z box. It aligned my steering shaft correctly, i just hope its tighter than the reman'd box.

Also disconnected my Bosch fuel pump, and mounted up the Magnafuel pump & filters. I still have to cut my old fuel lines down and add new fittings.

I started splitting my engine harness up to loom it together. 500ft of wire, and about 60 crimp terminals before its done.

Parts trickled in finally. Pro elite kit.. not much to the package I guess its all packed in there.

hope I'm as happy as this guy in the end..

Once you have tinted windows it's literally impossible to go back. I get annoyed driving rental cars cause they don't have it haha.

I've been thinking about bringing my Ty back to my friend's shop to go double limo all the way around. The Saudi trucks didn't come with that "Solar-Ray" glass, and single limo just isn't quite dark enough.

The two front windows and the rear hatch cost me $185. Normally, it would be more but because this the fourth car I've brought them, they gave me a bit of discount. For philly-area peeps, this is the place I go to: www.sunsationall.com

The rear fixed windows are factory tinted...more of a mirror tint. About 15% on the doors, and a step down from limo tint in the back.

I agree with you on "non-tinted" cars. It just feels weird to me now.

Picked up my 80e from the trans repair place. £1600 later... ouch!

I removed the trans and the Circle D converter today and am going to begin reinstalling the rebuilt trans tomorrow if I get time. It's been a long time since she ran properly. I hope this is the right path!

Unboxed my 4.165 diamond pistons and xd turbo rods from molnar / usa performance. Engine now going to a friend of mine to build (Tim Lynch) ex Proline racing engine builder and pro stock racer. (Check him out on youtube!) Getting excited at finally getting this beast finished!! Im shooting to be done with it by late summer! specs will be 280ci oddfire, powerglide awd, precision gen2 Sportsman 7685 turbo! Shooting to be 3200lbs with me in it!

Received my 18x12x6 intercooler core for the stock location. Just gotta fab the end tanks and mounts!

Unboxed my aeroflow 15gallon fuel cell from Australia today! 3 pump hangers built in! Talk about fast shipping!!! Oredered Last friday!!! Very nice quality!!!!

I mounted my new fuel pump. I have a handful of sensors to wire, and some switches in the cab. Then it'll be back on the road. I can't wait.

Ordered a level 4 powerglide from fti with all the necesary adapters to bolt up to the stock transfercase! They are even shortening the output shaft to the correct length!! $3650 to my door! Should have by the 10nth of july. Will post some pics of it bolted together with transfer case!

Checking the fitment of my intercooler core! 18x12x6. Looks like i have room for 2 inch side tanks with 4 inch pipes! Will be shrouded to direct air flow to it. Bottom of intercooler will just about line up with center frame crossmember!
