Ok Ive been on the boards for years now and still no typhoon, lol, its killing me. There is a fairly local one forsale. Its a 92 with 103K miles. They want $13K for it. Does this seem a little high for the miles or not? For those that care, heres the email the lady sent me...
Thank you for your interest in the Typhoon. There would be an interest in a possible trade for the Dakota QC you wrote of. I would like more information on the mods done and photos please. Last tune up information not available to me, maintenance records did not come with vehicle when we bought it. However, we do know some history of the most recent owner and do not doubt that he maintained it very well! He also still owns a Cyclone, the truck version of the Typhoon.
I can tell you we have done regular oil changes, etc... since bought 2 ½ years ago. Vehicle has been kept in road ready storage for 2 years due to military status of my son. (Co-owner of vehicle)
He has chosen to sell, and I am doing the legwork for him since he is oversees at this time.
Chip information I have available to me is GM GR3.670 Calibrator and my son reports yes, it built to correct boost when tested.
Interior in very good condition. No tears in leather, clean. Non smoker, maintained.
As far as working as original, yes to the best of our knowledge. With exception of alarm system. It is there, but has not worked since purchased and was not a priority to repair/replace for short time driven before his leaving.
He did put in a new exhaust system shortly after buying it.
Owners, I believe we are the 3rd private owner of this vehicle.
Yes 8 stock rims, and tires are nearly brand new as well.
Hope this information is helpful, let me know if any more questions, and please reply with your Dakota info.
--- I really would appreciate to get some input/advice/thoughts on what you guys think of this typhoon. Thanks a ton, Cody
