I would honestly hold out. Some killer deals come up here and on ebay from time to time. $12K isn't outrageous, but it's definately on the high side for a 102K mile truck.

cool, well this guy bought it from a guy that still has a syclone, didnt say where he was from tho. I asked a ton of questions waiting to hear back for more info. Im definitely not going to trade for less than $1500, and thats if it is in tip top condition.akwilks said:

black/black 92 Ty in the UK for $6000. Looks pretty good. Can ask about condition. Even with shipping that is a good deal.

yet another update. She took it in tuesday for an oil change and found out the a/c doesnt work. She said it would cost $750-$1000 to fix it because it wont hold a charge. Price has been dropped to $10200 but she doesnt want to trade plus cash, that would be a cash only price...so unless she changes her mind i wont be looking much into it. I might go up and drive it for the heck of it tho. The price is now right...but the ac doesnt work and she wont trade plus cash, lol.

You can probably fix the ac for less but, the $ with the miles and cash only SCREAMS walk away. I'd say 9K tops for the miles and w/o everything working. My guess is that like the others said a new rebuilt trans not done by a fellow Sy Tyer = problems. Hold off and save some more. You'll find the right one for you and your budjet. It only took me close to 2 years but, when that special one came along I was ready and jumped on it immediately. Good luck.

yup, ill just have to wait for my truck to sell, im hoping it will before winter but i guess whenever it does it does.
