well i am getting my motor finished being rebuilt and i want to know what you guys think about what i am having done. keith black forged pistons, some port work, balanced, blueprinted, gasket matched, 160 stat, k&n filter in stock box. my car only has 36,000 original miles. i just wanted to know what you guys thought my 1/4 mile e.t.'s would be.

and before you ask im already pretty good at launching it.....

turbo? chip? If your talking a stock Typhoon, prolly high 13's or low 14's.

i actually just got a chip burned for me from the guy that ownes the orange county motor speedway. its supposes to be pretty sweet.

Keith black pistons weren't forged as far as I was aware.. Either hypereutectic (not good) or cast... Not good for Turbo apps...

Are you sure they are forged pistons...

Edit: Actually looks like Keith Black now offers a new forged line of pistons however, Summit Racing doesn't appear to show them on their website.. I'd double check your part numbers for the pistons and make sure you received/purchased a forged set just to make sure..

im definatly sure they are forged because i was holding em right before they went into the motor. i also got the receipt for them. and as far as i know keith black has always made forged pistons. but i did have to special order them from kb.
