In terms of value that is. I am looking to buy a Syclone or GS Vette and also want to consider the future value/collectability of the car I buy. What will a Syclone cost in 2010? Anybody care to get out their crystal ball??

Thanks,

Vince

Hmm...

Both rare cars. I would guess your market is going to be larger with a GS. I wouldn't predict what is going to have more value. I would say if you can find a low mileage truck - and stash it in a garage for 10 years you would have good luck. A good portion of the trucks are getting driven and modded - and beat.

If you are going for collector's value - I would get the GS.

I remember reading a thread here a while back that said cars usually hit their lowest value about 10 years after they're made. After that, they start becoming more rare and valuable. If we're to believe that, SyTy's are about as cheap as they'll ever get... I know nothing about Vette numbers, but <3000 Sy's were made. I read a review from 91, and they were talking about how with them going into regular production, they'd depreciate just as much as regular S-10s. Well, they've held up pretty well so far due to the limited production...

1000 GS's The corvette is better handling/braking/comfortable & more reliable, but the same can be said about 87 corvette vs 87 Gn's. All of them are completely different vehicles though.
