The climate you live in plays a major role. I run a bottle of pump lubricant and distilled water through the summer. Then switch to a 50/50 mix of water/coolant for when the weather is going to go below freezing.

Ty0279

Historically Significant
70% distilled water
30% coolant/antifreeze

Used year-round in TX.

But, like CLONE said, it kinda depends on where you live.

ya i live in ca near san fransisco so it never gets belows freezing here. so the more water you can run the better it sounds like....

Life is beter at 25 PSI
yup, the more water the better, except for 2 things

1) coolant also helps prevent corrosion in the system

2) if you're running the stock lines bolted to the manifold, and a stock thermostat, and it's real hot, and you're running the AC stuck in traffic, they might get up to 212deg and start boiling your IC liquid if it's pure water... just maybe.
