what is the best combo of fluids to put in the intercooler. red line water weter and water. or 50% coolant & 50% water......... just wondering what the best combo was to get the lowest mat's.
The climate you live in plays a major role. I run a bottle of pump lubricant and distilled water through the summer. Then switch to a 50/50 mix of water/coolant for when the weather is going to go below freezing.
yup, the more water the better, except for 2 things
1) coolant also helps prevent corrosion in the system
2) if you're running the stock lines bolted to the manifold, and a stock thermostat, and it's real hot, and you're running the AC stuck in traffic, they might get up to 212deg and start boiling your IC liquid if it's pure water... just maybe.
