Probably won't get a full weight Ty into the 12s, but it's a good place to start...

Hell, right now i`m just trying to get a full weight Ty into the mid 13`s!!!!!! lol The best i`ve ever ran with it is a 14.2 @ 90mph.

Get the STG Ultimate... I don't recommend it but it got me down to the low 13's with just that a shurflo and lots of tuning. GOT Diacom?

A torque converter lockup switch can add up to .5 and costs almost nothing. With only 90 MPH I'd say definitely do the lockup switch, hit it at 60 mph. I'd also look into tuning, ignition, knock, etc. A stock Ty will do around 95 mph.

That and an external ice box for the intercooler will get you really close. Even easier, soak the intake with ice.

I did 13.3 @100 with an air intake, atr intercooler, torque converter, and tuning.

cheepest things i can suggest would be to remove the stock air box and run a 90 degree elbow with a cone filter right off the turbo. remove the mufflers. then get an ultimate chip so that you can turn the boost up.(must have all of the safety & reliability mods done before doing this)

The airflow vs. temperature debate will probably go on forever. Some guys here have done testing that shows even having the stock crossover tube doesn't consistently make you any faster. Because of the lack of definitive proof, and all the other stuff that seems to go along with trying to install one of the intake kits (relocate battery, which leads to..., which leads to...), I've actually given the intake a fairly low priority.

Also, the recipe doesn't mention it and neither has anyone in this thread. Insulation. Heat seems to be a big problem for us, and using heat-reflective insulation on the IC system seems to help keep the intake charge cooler by isolating it from other heatsources.
