What is this that keeps making noise?

It is under the fuel filler; mounted to the frame. And is covered by a plastic cover. I have pics of it but have no idea how to insert pics. When I start my truck it will take about 10 seconds and will shake and make noise for a few seconds then shut off. Anyone know what it is and how to fix it, or if it needs replacing.

That is your self leveling suspension in the rear of your truck. The Typhoons had that from the factory.

You could but I dont think you will find a new one. Look under your truck and see if you have the OE shocks. If you do you should probably replace them. When I got my truck my shocks were original and I dont even know if my air suspension worked. I just replaced my shocks with bilstiens.

So if I replace the shocks, do I just disconnect the harness and thats is. Or is there going to be a code that pops up

Yes they are the stock shocks.

Nah, no codes. Just unplug the pump and disconnect the lines going to the shocks themselves. You can remove the whole system if you want, it makes more sence and only takes about 20 mins. Hope this helps.

Gm now offers replacement if you like. They are cheaper in the Us than inCanada. Monroe also makes replacements, but I dont know the part #.
