I have the opportunity to buy a pretty clean 87 Grand National, but it would mean I would have to sell my Typhoon. The GN is clean and has 56k and a few mods. My Ty has 150k and is mostly stock, however I have a ton of parts to remedy that. What would you guys do?
Lol, can't sell that. Dad bought it new and passed it down, that one is a keeper.
He wants 10k for the GN. I know my ty isn't worth that, but I could put in the difference. Kind of torn right now. Always wanted a GN, but I like the ty.
It's been a few months since I looked at the turbo Buick market, but that seems real cheap. Find a way to buy it. If you are not interested pm me the sellers information.
The price was low because it was from a friend. Unfortunately, I may have procrastinated too long. He mentioned he was going to put it on eBay if I didn't want it. A few days ago I said I would pass for a few reasons. I spoke with him today and it is on eBay already. He has an offer for more money pending. So I probably missed out
I have an 87 GN. They're amazing vehicles in very high demand. If it really is as described, your Buddy can easily get $15K to $18k for it. Maybe even a few dollars more.
Should have bought it...that was a great friend price! I would like to have a Grand National, but I will probably end up with a T-Type for half the price!
Beautiful vehicle and you got a great deal! Don't worry about the broken antenna as it happens to all of them. Buy the inside coil wire (it's what makes the power antenna go up and down) $40 bucks and you'll be good. I'll get you the part number and the instructions on how to replace it. Don't think you have to go out and buy the $350 dollar antenna. Also, "OEM for GN" has all the oem parts you'll need. Congratulations!
