What size are stock injectors????

I tried doing a search and could not come up with anything. My Ty has the red top injectors and i believe those are stock and they actually look like 30lbs injectors that i have used on a coupe 5.0L Mustang projects, they are identical! Are these stocks and are they 30lbs injectors? Please let me know, thanks

if they are 30lbs, i have some new one's left from a 5.0L project and i will be installing them as for im rebuilding my motor. But they are 30lbs right???

Definitely 30s. Same as the red top Ford injectors.

I suspected they were the same as the 30lbs Ford red tops, as for they look identical.

FUNNY STORY:
I flowed the factory red tops at Richard clarks against then ATR 36lb upgrades.
As it turns out- the factory one flowed more- like 11 percent more.
I said damn Richard, these are in the catalog as the bigger faster upgrades.
He said if its faster its because the truck is Running leaner ,because the definitely dont flow more than stock.

I installed the Ford 36 LB blue top injectors,, the engine ran much richer than the stock injectors I had. Only slightly richer @ idle.

I would run out of fuel when boosting high & running stock injectors, after the install of the Ford 36 LB Blue top injectors, It would not run out of fuel.

I think the 36 LB Ford injectors I am currently using are used on the Ford SC V-6 Thunderbirds stock. These are the closest to stock injectors as far as being close to the same linier wise. That is why I chose to use these when I was not using code 59.

I had RPM, Mike Lee, clean & flow test them, they flowed 36 LBs.

The most correct answer is they are between 32-34 lb/hr injectors. We just flowed, matched, and rebuilt 4 sets of stock injectors, and the most consistent number shown for all the injectors is 33.71 lb/hr. couple a little higher, couple a little lower, but 75% of them were right at 33.71. Hope that helps.

that would coincide with the flow numbers i got at 43.5psi

they atrs must have been 30s advertised at 36

I am not sure of the psi the factory ones are tested @, but I think it was less pressure than 43.5 PSI?

What does the factory fuel pressure regulator regulate fuel pressure to stock? 38-40 PSI? There was a hesitation (when initially stepping on the gas peddle) when using a completely stock fuel system, when KB, installed there AFPR, they stated by turning the fuel pressure up, the hesitation went away, I confirmed this on my Sy also.

I seem to remember the stock injectors were advertised @ as 30LB injectors. I have heard even 28 LBS, but can't verify were I got this info from.

Not exactly; the SyTy injectors have a different nozzle design than the injectors used in the Supercharged Thunderbirds and Cougars.

For some reason Bosch used the same part numbers for both types, but you'll notice that BWD/Standard assigns different part numbers and does not label them as compatible between SyTys and the SC Fords.

I just changed out my stock ones for 37# Lucas injectors. The Lucas ones have 2 orifices in the spray pattern. My truck runs amazing on Pitbull chip & is not throwing a rich code or any codes.
