What to do.....

Sell Out
After getting my truck back I was talking to the body shop owner asking about his personal car. I asked what he used for wax. He isn't selling anything and I am sure he has a pretty decent idea about what paint is 'sposed to look like. He said Zaino. Aggghhhh!!!! Not another one to convert. So we were talking about all the other shit we had tried and he said it is by far the best thing he has used. We both had basically tried the same things.

I have put it off as long as I can - but I gotta try this shit. Has anyone tried it and NOT liked it? I need some negative feedback. It can't be THAT great.

What about the owners with White trucks. Did you notice a BIG difference? What did you use?

Give me the scoop....

Thanks

I think it's the best shit I've ever used on my truck. But Nick from Boston said he didn't like Zaino.

The only drawback I have encountered with Zaino is that it will not take out scratches. It doesn't have any abrasives in it, and while they claim to remove scratches "chemically" I haven't had much luck in that department.

I like to get swirls and fine scratches out with Meguiars products, strip them all off carefully with dishsoap as advised, and then apply Zaino. Labor intensive but great results.

I used Zaino once. I wasn't to impressed with it, it was mostly an ordinary polish. I thought it was hard to put on and take off, and it left a lot of streakes on my paint that I had to remove with quick detail. For how much everyone raves about it I didn't think it was very good. Also, it says it's just a polish which is different than a wax. A wax protects for a longer period of time. I'm going to stay with my Meguires products. If you have any more questions, or need help on what to use, you can e-mail me at Nick7197@hotmail.com

I have always been a believer in Meguires stuff. I always had very good luck with it. The guy at the body shop did say it the paint was in great condition - so I guess that does say something. It is weird Nick, that you had all the issues that you say - yet it is the opposite of what everthing else I have read has said. Maybe I should just try it to say I did. Or I could save my money and stick to the stuff that is already in my possession.

Thanks for the replies. Anyone else???

I have tried it all and all I can say is Zaino rocks! No comparison with anything else bar none. Try it and I bet you'll agree. It's alittle on the pricey side but well worth it. It you do do it, do the whole package with the clay-bar and all. You will not believe how slick and shiny your paint will be. Any ?'s shoot me a line.. HTH

I've tried it all as well. Zaino forever baby!

After you finish marvelling at the first coat. Get a few more on there ASAP and then you will really know what a shine is. The f-body guys down here race each other to see how many coats they can get on the car. Trust me, the cars look INSANE.

TRUST US - It's the bomb bro  Can't wait to see your truck looking CRAZY SHINY!

I like Zymol. It’s the best of anything I’ve tried so far, and it goes on and comes off excellent. It has no petroleum distillates in it, which I think is a good thing around paint and plastics. Smells absolutely awesome… From what everyone says Zaino may indeed be better, but the application of that stuff has always sounded like more trouble than I wanted to go through. Don’t get me wrong, I like shining the truck on a nice day, but it doesn’t take black long to get dirty. Zymol is a one-step process

I like Zymol also. First I put 3M Rubbing Compound on after washing. It removes scratches very well. Then the Zymol leaves it shining like new.
