i wasnt saying that i want to spend $1500 on a sy ty rebuild. im saying that places around here want $1500 to rebuild the tranny in my 86 C10 ( daily driver ) with stock components so i can only imagine what these local guys woudl charge to rebuild a sy ty tranny with performance parts. not to mention id question the build quality considering most have no clue abotu these trucks. the 6K price range isnt exactially shocking to me and it would be well worth it. but i like the OD.
