What's different?

I just picked up a 1992 jimmy 4x4, and would like to know what the difference between it's suspension and that on a typhoon. I have some big plans for this truck and am trying to get everything planned before I start.
Thanks.

They really aren't that different. Typhoons get crappier gas mileage, otherwise it's a wash

L98 swap, brake upgrade, awd conversion, custom console, sound system upgrade, new wheels and drop it a couple inches. It also needs some minor rust repair, paint and some interior trim replaced.

It's nice to see tuned port engines still getting some action around here! I'm looking forward to this build.

The torsion bars, rear springs and shocks are different. I wouldn't go out buy those Typhoon parts though, I would buy better aftermarket shocks and Belltech lowering springs and lower the front torsion bars.
