5 grand, come on that sounds pretty low. All it needs is paint and some wheel cleaning and it should be like new!!! More evaluations are appreciated. At 5K you are diminishing the value of your own truck!!!!!

sight unseen, the MOST Id pay is $7k for it..

paint is expensive..

repairing wheels is a pain in the ass...
and if its sat for 2-3 years, its gonna need alot of work to get running right.

but this is me.. im cheap and broke as hell.

mine hasnt sat for years and doesnt need paint, and doesnt need for all the wheels to be re cleared.

you looking at 5-8 grand to make it look like a clean 43k mile truck.

Paint work would probably be the most expensive thing. The wheels can be dipped in chrome for like $500-700. The only thing that would worry me is that it has been sitting. Why has it been sitting? Vaccum lines are probably going to need to be replaced, and full tune up in order. It has fairly low miles too, so that is a big plus.


I would probably $8000-9000 at the absolute most if I had the money. I know I could probably do the wet sanding and some of the prep work on the paint too.

A truck like that in excellent condition is probably worth around $13,000-14,000.

If a car has been standing still for quite a few years in High temprature surrounding, you will also find alot of dried out sealings.
i think paitning will cost indeed between 3 to 4 k.
but why has it been standing still??

i would buy for 6k

I guess it depend on how bad it is oxidized. You may be able to polish it and remove the oxidation or atleast make is decent.
