i think
in the old days the engineers called anything forcefed "supercharged"
then distinguish between Turbo or Positive Displacement, Roots, Axel, Centrifugal and Vein etc

while the current term nowadays for non turbo but forcefed is Supercharged

that person prob works in the used car lot of a dodge dealership, wears a white belt and white shoes, and stands in the window with his hands in his pockets and never heard of the word research

What "old days" ? I've been around for 55 years, I don't remember that sort of mis-understanding. Oh..... I 'm sorry, you are right, them there Dodge boys with the white hats on, they might have not known any better. :D
